Housing Rights Service is the leading provider of  independent specialist housing advice services in Northern Ireland. We work to achieve positive change by protecting and promoting
the rights of people in housing need.

We are currently seeking applications for the permanent post of:

 

HOUSING ADVISER

(34 hours per week) Salary Scale £19,592 - £25,574
The post holder will be part of a busy casework team and will be required to provide specialist advice, advocacy and representation on housing debt, homelessness and issues relating to renting  accommodation. S/he may also contribute to the delivery of training and legal information materials.

Essential requirements for the post include:
- at least 12 months full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience gained over the last five years, in providing advice and representation to the public in a social welfare context;
- demonstrated experience in debt advice;
- experience managing a substantial caseload.
